This is my second foray into an Aleppo-like soap. True Aleppo soap originated in Syria back in ancient times. There are places to this day that continue to make this soap using traditional methods. Check out this YouTube video if you would like to learn more.
Handmade soap which smells very earthy due to the laurel berry oil. I did not add a fragrance oil to this soap so this is the natural scent.
Additional ingredients: Saponified olive oil, laurel berry oil, coconut oil, water, sodium hydroxide, sodium lactate, kaolin clay, and sugar.
This listing is for 1 bar.
Each bar, cut by hand, is approximately 4.4 oz/124 grams. Because each bar is cut by hand, the size and weight may vary.
Each small batch soap is handmade and cured for at least 4 weeks. As such, there may be slight variations in the design and cut. To make your handmade soap last longer, keep the bar in a dry ventilated area between uses and do not let it sit in water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
